Library Link Bus Vists to Salford

 

Library Link Route Bus stops outside the Mary Agate Village Hall on fridays at roughly 2.10 - 2.30pm Dates so far confirmed:

 

September - Friday 7th, Friday 28th, October - Friday 19th, November - Friday 9th, Friday 30th, December - Friday 21st

 

The Library Link Service is available freely to all frail, disabled, mobility and/or visually impaired people and people with other limiting health conditions.  It is also available to carers who may be classed as 'housebound' due to the nature of their caring duties.

Each requester of the service is required to be individually assessed by either the Library Link or a member of library staff before the service is offered.

 

If appropriate, a volunteer may be used to deliver the service (all volunteers are Criminal Records Bureau checked)

Refuse is collected in Hulcote and Salford on Mondays, regardless of Public Holidays (except for Christmas Day and New Year's Day)

The Road Runner Community Bus

 

The Road Runner Community Bus runs a regular service from Brogborough/Aspley Guise to Bedford via Salford every Wednesday.

 

It goes through Salford at about 9.50a.m., stopping by the Swan (opposite the bus shelter and the village hall).

 

Arrival time in Bedford is about 10.15a.m. and it leaves for the return journey at 12.30p.m., giving you plenty of time to shop!, arriving in Salford at about 1p.m.

 

Bus pass holders currently travel free of charge.
